Custom Circle Leather Handbag

Hey y’all! Hey!
For this #SEWBLOGSUNDAY post I am highlight a custom order, I finished up a few weeks ago.
But wait! Before I jump into that, there has been a slight change. If you hadn’t picked up on it above, I have moved the “Sew Blogs” from Saturday to Sunday! Hence, #SEWBLOGSUNDAY!

Okay, let’s get back to these bags. So, a few weeks ago I completed a leather circular crossbody bag! This just wasn’t any circular bag, though. The leather, vegetable tanned (of course) in a three tone camo print.

The inside was completed with cotton fabric in Black and Tan. I added an open pocket for the little, little things. 💄💄💄

The hardware chosen for this handbag was a gold color. To me, gold hardware really gives handbags a pop but also keeps the design very chic. That’s what J. Christine is all about. #ARTSYCHIC
There was a little something extra that was added to this handbag. Along with the gold hardware, my client requested some “gold bling.” There were SO many ideas that flooded into my head; but, I had to choose one! So, I went with hand sewing in gold sequins, held down with a frosted bead!
⭐️Check out IGTV or YouTube for a video of the sequins being sewn onto this handbag.⭐️
These sequins are literally my favorite part of the whole bag!
The last part of this bag is something I do my best to implement in all of the handbag designs. The word is "functionality." I want to be able to use a handbag in multiple different ways. You know us women be needing the most. This handbag has an adjustable strap. Which means, you can wear it as a crossbody, as a shoulder bag, as a handle bag, or you can just remove the strap and carry it as a clutch! Now that is what I call versatility!

Thanks for joining in on this #SEWBLOGSUNDAY!
Talk to y'all soon!
